In response to the effects of COVID-19, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale (CCFL) has been organizing and executing several outreach and relief efforts. On Friday, April 10 at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale the church hosted a drive-thru outreach to pass out a gift, including essential items like hand sanitizer to bless families in the community and those with neighbors in need. Sy Rogers, a leading apologist on sexuality, died in Orlando on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at 63 after battling kidney cancer for eight months. This was his second bout with cancer.
