Pharmacy Students Loved Serving People of Honduras

Five hundred fifty patients served; 1,500 prescriptions filled; all in five days. Sounds exhausting. “Oh yeah,” said pharmacy student Tara McIntosh, recalling the Gregory Center for Medical Missions trip to Honduras in June. At day’s end, after dinner, a shower, devotions and debriefing, “that’s when you start to feel exhausted,” she said. “But not during the day, because the patients were so thankful and grateful, and praying for you while you’re praying for them. It felt like something I enjoy doing, all day, every day.” Tara and four other students from the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy worked under […]

Franklin Graham: They Did the Right Thing

Remember this date: June 24, 2022.  This is the day that the United States Supreme Court made the historic decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Finally, after 49 years of prayer from millions of people, and the unceasing work of the pro-life movement, the court voted to strike down one of the most horrific and egregious rulings in the history of our nation.  In so doing, the high court upheld a Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks (Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization), and then went on to overturn the infamous 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. With the decisiveness […]

Rob Pacienza, Lead Pastor, Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church Friday, June 24th, 2022, was certainly a watershed moment for our nation. After 49 years and the cruel slaughter of more than 63 million babies, the US Supreme Court has finally reversed its 1973 decision Roe v. Wade. By overruling Roe, the Supreme Court has finally acknowledged that the greatest civil authority in the United States is the Constitution. This is extraordinarily good news for all Americans, especially the […]

4Cyclists4KIDS Cross the Finish Line

(Scroll down to leave a comment on this 4Cyclists4KIDS event.) Considered the world’s most grueling continual cycling race, RAAM was a unique opportunity for Tully and the 4Cyclists4KIDS team to leverage their talents to give back to a mission that matters most to them — creating brighter futures for kids in foster care. The team, comprised of four ultra-endurance cyclists and […]

Franklin Graham: Triumphing Over Evil

The tragic shooting deaths of 19 young school children and two teachers in the south Texas town of Uvalde left us all heartbroken. The gunman was an 18-year-old troubled teen who shot his own grandmother before entering Robb Elementary School and killing innocent fourth graders who were only two days away from the end of the school year. Not surprisingly, the conversation in the media and in the political realm quickly turned to gun control. Ban certain weapons, is the thinking, and these kinds of tragedies can be averted. Sadly, they’re looking in the wrong place. “The closer we get […]

(Scroll down to leave a comment on the Roe ruling) Rev. Robert J. Pacienza, Senior Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church released the following statement today in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade:   After 49 years and the cruel slaughter of more than 63 million unborn humans the U.S. Supreme Court has, at long last, reversed its deadly 1973 decision, Roe v. Wade.   This is extraordinarily good news for all Americans—and especially the unborn. But while it means justice for some preborn children . . . others remain at risk.   Roe’s […]
