Local Families Make a Global Impact Through Operation Christmas Child

Schools and churches in the Fort Lauderdale area will be among 5,000 U.S. drop-off locations collecting shoebox gifts for children overseas during Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week, Nov. 18-25. Recently Banyan Air Service was honored by the City of Fort Lauderdale with a proclamation recognizing Banyan’s 40th anniversary at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. On October 14, 4KIDS celebrated ten years of the South Florida Orphans Classic & Auction. More than 100 golfers enjoyed a beautiful morning out on the course at Coral Ridge Country Club. In the afternoon, they took part in a lively round of bidding on auction items, all benefiting 4KIDS. Each foursome that participated in the tournament represented different business partners that generously gave towards the event.
