FCA Raises $90,000 in 100-Hole Golf Marathon

Eighteen men accepted the challenge and played in the first Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) 100-hole Golf Marathon on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the beautiful Coral Ridge Country Club.  Each of the players played for 9 glorious hours in a sun-drenched South Florida day. J.C. Conte was Master of Ceremonies for the after tournament Awards dinner and cool down as players reminisced about the flurry of “almost” holes-in-one. U.S. News Ranks Palm Beach Atlantic Among Best in South

Palm Beach Atlantic University climbed five spots in the respected U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2019 edition. The University placed 52nd among the best universities in the South in the rankings released September 10. The publication includes rankings of more than 1,800 schools nationwide. Retired Nurse Saves Lives Outside Fort Lauderdale Abortion Facility

Patty Kelly is into saving lives. A retired critical care nurse, since 2016 Patty has been doing much the same outside an abortion facility on Oakland Park Blvd. Only now she saves lives by sharing compassion and critically needed information to help abortion-minded women choose life. Church United Holds Teacher Appreciation Lunch

Four local churches, through Church United a partnership of local churches across denominations, hosted a teacher appreciation lunch on August 14 for the faculty and staff of Fort Lauderdale High School. With the help of approximately 40 volunteers, these four churches came together to provide lunch, teacher survival kits and school supplies for 175 teachers and faculty members to kick off the 2018-2019 school year. This event included inspirational programming and raffle prizes to show teachers how appreciated they are for investing in the students. Boca Christian Headmaster Dr. Robert H. Tennies Remembered

Dr. Robert Tennies was the beloved Headmaster of Boca Raton Christian School for the past 34 years. He passed into Glory on September 1st following a heart procedure. Dr. Tennies was born in Bogota, Columbia, where his parents were missionaries. He made Boca Christian his mission field with a life-long dedication to caring for children’s minds and souls.
