Love Life Prayer Event Draws 500 Walkers

New Local Church Honors Veterans

A new church in Fort Lauderdale named Everlasting Life Church recently held a service honoring those who have served our nation, U.S. Military Veterans.  Everlasting Life is a new church in South Florida and is pastored by a Shawn Bower, former Special Forces Officer who has a heart for veterans, our community and the homeless. Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Plans Thanksgiving Outreach

A congregation -wide effort is underway at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale to fight hunger and feed hope this November. The goal is to feed over 1,000 families in our community this Thanksgiving. Individuals or families at Calvary are encouraged to donate one box of food or $40 in hopes of raising 20,000 pounds of food or a monetary donation of $20,000. Volunteers are also being sought to assist with offsite distribution events on Saturday, November 20.
