Broward Youth Coalition Receives Tickets to Black Violin Performance

In continuation of his support for the community and the arts, Zach Hoffman, CEO/Founder of Exults, presented United Way of Broward County Commission on Substance Abuse’s Broward Youth Coalition (BYC) with tickets to Black Violin’s Fort Lauderdale show on February 5th at Parker Playhouse. The tickets were distributed to 50 students and chaperones from BYC, a program focused on developing youth advocates in substance abuse prevention and mental health promotion. For over 32,000 people with special needs, Night to Shine, a prom sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and held on February 12th at over 200 churches in 48 states and 8 countries, was the experience of a lifetime. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, the leader of the court’s conservative wing and an intellectual powerhouse, died on Feb. 13 at age 79, sending shock waves through the legal and political spheres. Florida ranked first among the 50 states in the number of HIV diagnoses in 2013, and despite the lingering stigma associated with the disease, one ministry is providing an Oasis for those impacted by the disease.
